Regional Coordination
Contacting families in regional area to form or coordinate a support or volunteer group
Coordinating local area legislation campaign to educate legislators about pediatric cancer research needs
Coordinating advocacy to local agencies in your area
Assisting to compile local resources from your area to contribute to the NCCS national resource list
General Help
Contacting your local representatives in support of increasing pediatric cancer research grants
Contacting your local American Cancer Society directors and board members to advocate an increase in pediatric research, grants, and support
Fundraising
Recruiting your company and the companies of your family and friends to sign up for United Way contributions
Recruiting your company and the companies of your family and friends to make corporate grants or to provide matching funds
Holding your own fundraiser for NCCS or for a local children's cancer organization (we have a guidebook that can help you with this)
Solicit goods, autographed sports memorabilia, services, vacation packages, etc. for future auctions and raffles to be held in support of NCCS
