| Something special about Austin Foster Akin: | Austin was diagnosed at six months of age and through it all you would never know that he had cancer. The summer of 2006 was the best time ever with Austin, as he was cancer free. When September rolled around we found out that the cancer was back and we were in treatment once again. It was a hard fight but he gave it his all. Oh April 2, 2007 on his second birthday, we were told yet again the cancer was back and it was more agressive then ever. After a couragous year and half battle, Austin earned his wings on April 6, 2007. He will never be forgotten but forever missed. |
